dSS metering subproject started
Up to now there was only one monolithic dSS project. For reasons of developments speed a second line of development, dSS metering, has been added recently.
The dSS project has two major lines of development now. The first one that was the origin of the project is called «*dSS comfort»*. It takes care of all the basic functionality the dSS is responsible for like offering an API for the dS enabled apartment, allowing to define timed events, scripting support to modify standard behaviour and so on.
The second line of development referred to as «dSS metering» is focusing on gathering metering data (especially from non-dS meters) as well as subjects like associating an appartement with an electricity provider and delivering smart meter data to this utility according to a contractual agreement.
