i.A.: Sets erscheinen als nicht löschbar, daher sollte eine API-Funktion in JSON/SOAP/Javascript für das Löschen zur Verfügung gestellt werden

Sets are volatile structures which aren't visible, so deleting them doesn't really make sense.
